Terms, in plain language
Bukmrk provides free online tools for everyday file and web tasks. You can use the core tools without creating an account, but you are responsible for the files, text, images, code, links, media, or other inputs you use with the site.
The tools are provided as-is and may not always be perfect, available, accurate, secure, or suitable for every purpose. Please check any output before relying on it, especially for work, school, legal, financial, medical, business, or sensitive uses.
Do not misuse Bukmrk, process content you do not have the right to use, interfere with the site, or use the tools to harm others. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use Bukmrk.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you visit or use Bukmrk, including its website, free online tools, PDF tools, image tools, file converters, text tools, developer utilities, design helpers, security helpers, calculators, time tools, and other related features.
By using Bukmrk, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the site.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Bukmrk after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
2. What Bukmrk provides
Bukmrk provides free online tools and web utilities for everyday digital tasks. These may include tools for files, images, PDFs, text, code, design, conversion, formatting, generators, calculators, and other practical online tasks.
Bukmrk is intended to help users complete small digital jobs quickly. The site is not intended to replace professional software, professional advice, secure enterprise systems, legal tools, medical tools, financial tools, compliance systems, or regulated data-processing services.
3. Free access and site changes
Bukmrk core tools are free to use.
Bukmrk may add, remove, change, limit, pause, discontinue, or monetize tools, pages, categories, features, ads, or other parts of the site at any time. There is no guarantee that any specific tool or feature will remain available, remain free, or continue working in the same way.
Bukmrk may also update tool pages, change supported formats, adjust limits, improve presets, remove broken tools, or revise page content over time.
4. No account required for core tools
Bukmrk does not currently require an account for core tool usage.
If accounts, saved settings, paid features, subscriptions, user dashboards, or similar features are added in the future, extra terms may apply. Those terms should be provided or linked where relevant.
5. Your responsibility for files and inputs
You are responsible for any files, text, images, PDFs, audio, video, code, links, data, or other inputs you use with Bukmrk.
You must only use content that you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to process. You are responsible for making sure your use of Bukmrk does not violate copyright, privacy rights, confidentiality duties, contract terms, workplace rules, school rules, professional duties, or any applicable law.
Bukmrk is not responsible for the contents of files or inputs you choose to use with the site.
6. Tool outputs and accuracy
Bukmrk tools may create, modify, convert, compress, clean, format, analyze, generate, preview, or otherwise process outputs based on your inputs.
You are responsible for checking all outputs before using, sharing, submitting, publishing, relying on, or storing them. Tool outputs may contain mistakes, formatting issues, missing data, compression artefacts, conversion errors, metadata changes, visual defects, text errors, calculation errors, or other problems.
Do not rely on Bukmrk outputs as professional advice, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, tax advice, compliance advice, or as a substitute for review by a qualified person where that kind of review is needed.
7. Sensitive files and higher-risk uses
Be careful with sensitive, confidential, regulated, private, legal, financial, medical, workplace, school, business, or professional files.
Do not use Bukmrk for highly sensitive files unless you understand and accept how the specific tool handles files and inputs. Some file tools may process files on your device. Some tools may require limited data transfers, server-side processing, or third-party services. Tool pages should explain important file-handling details where relevant.
You are responsible for deciding whether a specific tool is appropriate for your file, task, device, browser, workplace, organization, or legal obligations.
8. File handling and processing
For file tools, Bukmrk aims to keep files on your device when the task can be handled directly through your browser. This can reduce unnecessary file uploads for common tasks.
Not every tool works the same way. Some tools, features, file types, large media tasks, conversions, or future services may require limited data transfers, server-side processing, or third-party services. If a tool requires different handling, the tool page or related privacy information should explain the relevant details where practical.

9. Acceptable use
You may use Bukmrk for personal, school, work, business, and general everyday tasks, provided that your use follows these Terms and applicable law.
You agree to use Bukmrk responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You also agree not to interfere with the normal operation of the site, misuse the tools, or use Bukmrk in a way that harms other people, systems, networks, devices, services, or rights.
10. Prohibited use
You must not use Bukmrk to:
- Break any law, regulation, contract, court order, or legal duty.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, trade secrets, or other rights.
- Process files, text, images, code, data, or media that you do not have the right to use.
- Upload, paste, process, generate, or distribute malware, viruses, harmful code, phishing material, or security threats.
- Harass, threaten, defame, abuse, exploit, impersonate, or harm another person.
- Invade someone's privacy or process someone's private information without proper authority.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, deceptive content, or fraudulent material.
- Attempt to bypass limits, access controls, security measures, or intended workflows.
- Scrape, crawl, overload, attack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or bulk systems in a way that harms the site or other users.
- Use Bukmrk in a way that could expose the site, its operator, users, service providers, or partners to legal, security, or operational risk.
Bukmrk may block, limit, remove, disable, or restrict access to the site or tools if misuse is suspected.
11. Ownership and intellectual property
Bukmrk owns or licenses the site design, branding, logo, page copy, layouts, tool interfaces, code, graphics, organization, structure, and other materials made available through the site, except where third-party materials or open-source materials are identified.
You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, mirror, resell, redistribute, frame, modify, or exploit Bukmrk's site materials except where allowed by law or clearly permitted by Bukmrk.
You keep ownership of your own files, text, images, PDFs, code, data, media, and other inputs. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Bukmrk.
12. Limited permission to process your inputs
When you use a Bukmrk tool, you give Bukmrk the limited permission needed to operate that tool and provide the requested result. This may include processing, converting, modifying, previewing, compressing, formatting, generating, or displaying your input as needed for the tool to work.
This limited permission exists only so the tool can function. It does not mean Bukmrk owns your files, inputs, or outputs.
Where a file tool works through your browser, processing may happen on your device. Where a tool requires limited data transfers, server-side processing, or third-party services, the tool page or privacy information should explain relevant details where practical.
13. Third-party links, ads, and services
Bukmrk may include links to third-party websites, resources, social media pages, ads, analytics services, advertising services, embedded features, or other third-party tools and services.
Third-party services are not controlled by Bukmrk. They may have their own terms, privacy policies, cookies, tracking tools, security practices, and content rules. You are responsible for reviewing those terms and policies before using third-party services or providing information to them.
Bukmrk is not responsible for third-party websites, services, advertisements, resources, content, policies, or practices.
14. Privacy and cookies
Your use of Bukmrk is also affected by the Privacy Policy and Cookies page.
Those pages explain how Bukmrk approaches file handling, tool inputs, cookies, analytics, advertising, and related privacy issues.
By using Bukmrk, you acknowledge that cookies, analytics, advertising, local storage, or similar technologies may be used as described in those pages.
15. Disclaimers
Bukmrk is provided as-is and as available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bukmrk makes no warranties or guarantees about the site or tools, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, reliable, compatible with your device, suitable for your purpose, or available at any particular time.
Bukmrk does not guarantee that files will process correctly, outputs will be accurate, formatting will be preserved, conversions will be complete, compression will meet a target size, metadata will be retained or removed, or that any tool will meet your specific needs.
You use Bukmrk at your own risk.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bukmrk and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar losses related to your use of the site or tools.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses related to:
- Inability to access or use the site.
- Tool errors, failed processing, or unavailable features.
- Lost, corrupted, changed, or damaged files.
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable outputs.
- Data loss, business loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, or interruption of work.
- Reliance on tool results.
- Third-party links, ads, analytics, services, or websites.
- Unauthorized access, technical failures, bugs, security issues, or browser/device problems.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits of liability. In those cases, the limits apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Responsibility for misuse
If your misuse of Bukmrk, violation of these Terms, violation of someone else's rights, or unlawful activity causes a claim, loss, cost, damage, dispute, or legal issue, you agree to be responsible for it.
This may include responsibility for reasonable costs arising from claims connected to your files, inputs, outputs, conduct, or use of the site.
18. Changes to these Terms
Bukmrk may update these Terms as the site, tools, features, privacy practices, advertising, or legal needs change.
When updates are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page should be changed. Continued use of Bukmrk after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the applicable laws of Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
